I’ve always loved taking care of my hair, but in the past, I’d just use shampoo. Gradually, I learned that a proper haircare routine doesn’t just keep hair clean, it also makes it healthy, shiny, and manageable. Today, I’ll share the steps and products I use for my hair, drawing on my personal experience.
Shampoo

Choosing the right shampoo was the first step for me. I noticed that gentle, sulfate-free shampoo works best for my scalp. It cleans my hair without causing dryness. I usually shampoo every two or three days to retain natural oils.
Hair Mask

I always apply a hair mask on weekends. It deeply nourishes my hair. My favourite mask is one with aloe vera and coconut oil. I leave it on my hair for 20-30 minutes and then rinse it out. Hair masks make my hair feel soft, shiny, and strong.
Spa Treatment

Sometimes I also get a professional hair spa. Spas refresh the scalp and repair damaged hair. In my experience, the volume, softness, and shine in hair are noticeable after a spa.
Conditioner

Using conditioner after shampooing has become a daily habit. I always apply it to my mid-lengths and ends. Conditioner keeps my hair tangle-free and manageable. Sometimes I also use a leave-in conditioner, which makes styling easier.
Oiling

Hair oiling is very important to me. Massaging the scalp with coconut oil or almond oil increases blood circulation and improves hair growth. I oil at night and leave it on for 1-2 hours or overnight.
Hair Serum
Hair serum is the final step in my haircare routine. I use serum for frizz control and shine. A small amount goes a long way. Serum leaves my hair looking smooth and polished, whether it’s straight or naturally wavy.

Final Thought
For me, haircare isn’t just a routine, it’s a part of self-love and confidence. From shampoo to serum, every step makes my hair healthy, shiny, and strong. The right products and a consistent routine have taught me to love my hair.
